A nice bloke that has found his passion and purpose in life teaching people to enjoy speaking to others
As a former physiotherapist I have had a life long desire to help others achieve what they are capable of. It took me many decades of life experiences to arrive at where I am now. I live in Tunbridge Wells in Kent, I have a lovely wife, an allotment that I get to spend time in, I run a Repair Cafe locally. Most of all I get to work with adults and children in helping them overcome their reluctance to speak in front of others. The phrase I hear from my previous clients, when they have learnt to talk to others, that delights and continues to encourage me is, 'I enjoyed it'. I have the best job in the world, if you want any help with your speaking then drop me a line. However, if you want someone who is going to teach you how to move around a stage, make eye contact and use gestures then I might not be your person. I work with whatever is there, I have no agenda, I make no outcome promises but what I can guarantee is change and transformation. What that is, I don't know but if you'd like to find out then let's get going.
Director
PhysioUK Training Limited (February 1, 1999 - October 1, 2019)
PhysioUK was a continuing education provider for physiotherapists and health professionals. I started PhysioUK with a passion for making education high quality and accessible. I hope we achieved that, I met some amazing health professionals through the years and I hope we made a difference to them as professionals and their patients. Over the 20 years we served over 27000 customers and organised over 1500 courses.
Director
The Speaking Mentor (November 1, 2019 - Present)
I work with adults and children to help them become confident and engaging speakers. In working with them to overcome their anxiety I help them to know they are capable of speaking and to and engaging audiences and convey their message. I would not say I work in a conventional way but if that intrigues you then let's have a chat.

We have a number of different repair stations covering areas such as electrical, mechanical, clothing, wood / furniture, jewellery, IT / Computers and miscellaneous. The goal is to extend the life time of items, reduce landfill and ultimately reduce people's carbon footprint. The service is free but those using the service are welcome to make a donation and any surplus is donated to charities and good causes. We have over 75 volunteers who help run the largest Repair Cafe in the South East of England with its 28 repair stations.
